Santa's Butt, Ridgeway Brewing - Commercial
Style: 13C. English Porter
by Corey T.
About: This special holiday porter is made for winter - rich and warming, the way they like it at the North Pole. It was inspired by this famous line from a well-loved children's storybook: "And Santa sat on his great butt, enjoying a hardy brew..." In case you find that amusing, the brewer hastens to point out that "butt" refers to a certain sized barrel customarily used for beer. Still snickering, eh? Get your mind out of the gutter, or Santa will be skipping your home entirely this year.
Bad Elf Winter's Ale, Ridgeway Brewing - Commercial

by Corey T.

Pull up a sturdy chair, let's fill up yer best flagon with the season's finest natural ale, and I'll tell you a dark tale of elf and woe. 'Ere's to your elf!
Our Special Ale 2022, Anchor Brewing Company - Commercial
Style: 30C. Winter Seasonal Beer
by Corey T.
About: This is the forty-eighth Our Special Ale from the brewers at Anchor. This ale is made with natural flavors, features a new recipe & tree every year, but the intent with which we offer it is the same: joy & celebration of the newness of life. Trees symbolize the winter solstice when the earth, with its seasons, appears born anew. Mary Ellen Pleasant planted blue gum trees in front of her San Francisco home in the 1800s.The home is long gone, but her landmark trees remain, a living tribute to the Mother of Civil Rights in California.
